How it started

MarketExposure was established in 2007, when I took a break from Information Technology to dabble in the Internet Marketing world. I realized I had a real knack for it and decided to pursue it further.

My background

As mentioned previously, I used to work in the Information Technology field as a Systems Administrator. I did that for over 13 years, 6 of which were spent managing networks in the U.S. Air Force.

About 5 years ago, I thought about researching another form of technology…Internet Marketing! I started off learning the art of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC). That led me to making a decent living off of affiliate marketing and marketing information products. Soon after, I put my web design skills to good use building web sites and selling them for a profit. I saw an opportunity to take this specialized skill set and bring it to small and medium business owners. I could build websites AND put my Search Engine Marketing skills to good use.

I would build sites for small businesses and optimize them so that they would achieve maximum visibility in the search engines (e.g. Google). Maximum visibility would equal maximum return on investment (ROI) for my clients.
